Guess what I got today? Well if you read the title it’s probably not too hard to figure out. Can you believe it’s time for Girl Scout Cookies?!
Looks like Moose wants some Thin Mints.
The Girl Scout cookies that I received today from my co-worker’s daughter made the perfect sweet treat since I didn’t pack a dessert. It took a little thought but I decided on the Do-si-dos for dessert since they were my favorite back in my Girl Scout days.
On Tuesday nights Chris and I usually go to the gym and then out for a quick dinner from either Chipotle or Whole Foods. Tonight we switched up our routine and did an onDemand workout. Surprisingly the 20 minute core routine was super hard. Ouch!
While we worked out in the living room, our dinner cooked on the stove. We made Daily Garnish’s One-Pot Quinoa & Greens. We had a big bunch of collard greens from last week’s CSA box, so I doubled the recipe and used up all of the greens.
We added a little of Emeril’s bayou seasoning for some extra flava, bam!
Time to map out a 5 mile course for tomorrow morning’s run. This week I move from the base portion of training to the strength portion!
