Shopping Over Running

It’s been raining on and off all day. Linda and I had scheduled to run 6 miles this afternoon after checking the weather and seeing that things should be letting up about that time.
Before heading out, I tweeted this:
Sure enough it started raining as soon as I backed down the driveway. I continued on to our meeting point but the rain wasn’t letting up. Once we both arrived we decided there were things much more fun than running in the rain.
Like shopping at My Favorite Place! It’s full of all sorts of random items to ooo and ahh over and also laugh about…
Way more fun than running in the rain!
This morning I made myself a big ole bowl of cereal. It is Saturday after all. While we ate breakfast we caught up on Facebook and Twitter or “read the news” as Chris said.
Then we went to Target and spent way too much time and money. Target can just do that to you though.
I have been dying to get a food processor and after Caitlin mentioned her favorite one was on sale at Target, I had to go get it. We also walked away with a new dutch oven and some clothes and shoes for moi!
I reheated some Sweet Potato Soup for lunch and paired it with a grilled cheese and kale sandwich. Salted chickpeas were a nice added source of protein.
Now I need to go hop in the shower because we are meeting Matt and Linda for dinner soon! Have a great night, bye!
