My day off work yesterday was greatly appreciated and enjoyed.
I ran, did some blog work, some work work, watched part of the inauguration and went out for a Thai lunch date with my sister.
After lunch her and I went next door to Goodness Grocery where I couldn’t leave without a kombucha. Perfectly refreshing.
Later in the afternoon Moose and I shared a nice walk together before coming home to make dinner. In our bowls – Angela’s Maple Baked Lentils with Sweet Potatoes. This was great although I didn’t follow the recipe exactly. I opted out of the maple syrup and molasses to make a saltier version. A great hearty winter dinner that went perfectly with a warm slice of roasted garlic bread.
Can every weekend be three days long from now on?
