Over the weekend my niece had a cowgirl themed birthday party with a bunch of her friends from school. There were tons of cute (and wild!) little girls running around in cowgirl hats, which was rather adorable. I tried to dress for the theme with some chambray, cut-off jean shorts and my new fall booties.
This tank has been on major repeat lately. It’s just the right amount of flowy in a super soft fabric. It’s one of only a few shirts I’m currently liking in my closet. Everything else is too hot and/or boring. Do you go through those slumps? When you just have no desire to wear anything in your closet…except for your comfy workout clothes. Luckily for me I can pretty much live in my yoga pants while on maternity leave.
Happy Tuesday! I had my eyes on rompers back when I was pregnant and now it’s time to wear them as much as I can while summer is still here. I’m also taking advantage of the pretty summer flowers that are in season – they make the house so bright and cheery. I get to enjoy them a lot since I’m home all day while on maternity leave. Plus it’s fun to show the flowers to Frances. They usually cheer her up too!
This dress is one of the items I had my eye on during the Gap Friends and Family event. It’s a fun, floral chambray that will transition easily into fall. It also has pockets which is always a pleasant surprise on any dress.
Yes, I have wet hair that is in the process of air drying. It’s 6:00pm and I just got out of the shower. Hey, at least I showered today. It’s Friday after all and we’re going to attempt to grab dinner out. As of yesterday, Frances has started crying more frequently. Fingers crossed she’ll take a little nap while we inhale some chips and salsa.
Hope you have a fun weekend!
