White Jeans – Target (maternity)  //  Sweater – Old Navy  //  Tank – Target  //  Sandals – Target  //  Necklace – H&M  //  Lips – Wild Berry by Parallel Face and Body

I’ve been really wanting a pair of white jeans for summer, but wasn’t sure it was necessary to buy maternity white jeans that could only be worn for a few months…until I found these super comfortable and affordable maternity jeans at Target. The best part is they don’t stretch out, which seriously makes me want to wear them even after I’m pregnant. I actually feel that way about two other pairs of skinny maternity jeans. They don’t stretch out after a few hours of wearing and sitting, which is hard to come by in jeans. Maybe the maternity jeans will stick around for a while after baby…

Head over to Trend Spin Linkup today to see Sandals. Laura also has an awesome surprise – she’s wearing Parallel Face & Body lip balm!! Thanks for the great review, Laura and for featuring our tinted lip balms on Walking in Memphis in High Heels.

Chambray top – Old Navy  //  Pants – Old Navy (similar)  //  Necklace – Zara  //  Heels – DSW  //  Lips – Dayum Red by Parallel Face & Body

I think it’s fair to say this is likely the last time these pants will be able to button for a while. It took a little extra oomph to even button them today. But I’m really liking the mix of “work” pants with a more casual top so I had to get one last wear out of them. I paired these with chambray because chambray is easy and goes with everything. It’s almost easier than a plain white tee. It’s that simple, wear-with-anything top.

Tank top – Target  //  Sweater – Old Navy  //  Jeans – Gap  //  Necklace – American Eagle (similar)  //  Booties – Old Navy (on sale!)  //  Lips – Parallel Face & Body

Well, we did it – we closed on our house today! Now it’s time to let the decorating fun begin. I mean that’s the best part, right?

We don’t have a set move-in date, but we do have a few things to get done before we start moving (like get a fence for Mr. Moose). I’ll keep y’all updated, hopefully we’ll be in there sooner than later!

Today I incorporated some winter white with this new Old Navy sweater. It will be great for winter and paired with tank tops for spring. Be sure to check out other winter white ideas on Trend Spin Linkup at Walking in Memphis in High Heels.

Who’s got a hot date for Valentine’s Day? I think Chris and I are on planning on staying in, cooking pork tenderloin and watching either the series we just started, Scandal, or House of Cards since it’s being released Friday. It’s a crazy life we lead over here…but really I think I’d rather have a laid back evening since it’s bound to be packed for a Friday V-day.

Sweater – Gap (similar, similar)  /  Scarf (similar) /  Jeans  /  Boots – Old Navy (similar – splurge, similar – save)

I quickly wrote the title of this blog. Then I paused for a second and realized while that’s a good description of my outfit, it’s also a popular song on the radio…that my husband hates and I secretly like. Please tell me you like that song too, I mean it’s catchy, right?

I got this sweater last year from Gap and it was probably my favorite purchase last winter. It’s warm without being too bulky. And I really dig the play on houndstooth pattern.

Now go check out how others are wearing their sweaters in today’s Trend Spin Linkup over on Walking in Memphis in High Heels!
